Donate
We would be grateful for any tax-deductible donation that you could make to help on the ground in the Congo. The Reebok Foundation has agreed to help us collect funds for this purpose where they may be sent to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to a charitable organization recommended by Christian Mukusa as most capable of directly handling the re-socialization of child soldiers.
Checks should be made out to Reebok Foundation – HCA Congo Fundraising and mailed to
Stop Child Soldiers - Health Careers Academy, 60 Huntington Avenue, CA-202 Boston, MA 02115.
Where Your Money Will Go...
All of the money that we collect through the Reebok foundation will go to Bureau pour le Volontariat au Service de l’Enfance et de la Santé (BVES). BVES works with former child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It seeks to promote the awareness of victimized children and to protect their rights. BVES is particularly attempting to protect children that are victims of conflicts and/or economic marginalization like child soldiers. It promotes the demobilization of child soldiers in the D.R.C. and keeps a center for former child soldiers, where they are provided with food and shelter, counseling and education to help their reintegration into society.
